Description
Design Type: Tie chain (also referred to as a tie bar with drape chain). Rather than clipping tightly onto the fabric, the top bar slides onto the shirt placket, allowing the tie to slip safely behind the hanging chain and pendant. Pendant Style: Geometric octagonal signet shape featuring an art deco or modernist engraved diagonal stripe pattern. Era: Circa 1940s–1950s. Composition: Typically finished in a polished gold-tone metal, often featuring a 14K rolled gold overlay or gold-filled surface standard of vintage Kreisler quality.
