§[Replacement Procedure]
?Requires screwdriver, precision screwdriver, pliers, cutter
①Open the cover marked with a red circle, remove the screws, and detach from the wall.
②Turn off the power before disconnecting the wiring, or if working with power on, insulate each wire individually with tape and be careful of short circuits.
③Remove the 3 screws marked with red circles and open the back cover as shown in the image.
*Opening with force may cause wire breakage.
④Removing the 2 screws marked with red circles allows for lens replacement, but the light receiving sensor can be damaged if force is applied that bends the circuit board. Remove the 2 screws marked with blue circles and detach the base.
*Check the connection of the circuit board connector. Disconnecting and reconnecting while powered on can cause malfunction.
⑤Remove the lens by turning counter-clockwise.
*If the threadlocker is strong, make a cut around the screw with a cutter and turn with pliers.
⑥Attach the base and use the narrowest of the 3 sides of the positioning jig to tighten the gap between the lens and the base to a loose fit.
*Be careful not to overtighten (this will damage the light receiving sensor).
Refer to Note 1 for focus adjustment. After adjustment, reassemble in reverse order.
§Supplementary Note 1
While the lens is attached with the jig, find the adjustment point by gradually loosening it by rotating to the left. Be careful not to damage the light receiving sensor. A pattern with clear contrast between light and dark is recommended for the subject.
*If focus adjustment is difficult (be careful of short circuits and static electricity)... Insulate the back of the lens circuit board with masking tape, etc., and connect the wiring from Step 2. While looking at (or having someone look at) the screen of the sub-unit and main unit, rotate the lens to adjust. After adjustment, temporarily disconnect the connection from Step 2 and reassemble.
